Bayer, Monsanto Explore Asset Sale

Bayer and Monsanto are exploring the sale of about $2.5 billion of assets as they seek regulatory approval for their $66 billion merger,according to a report from Reuters.

“To kick off an auction process, Bayer’s advisors will send out information packages next week to prospective bidders for the businesses, which have been divided into three bundles of assets,” Reuters reported, citing people close to the matter.
