“Many regulations have been carried out in the worldwide, which restrict the application of chemical pesticide and increase the consumers’ awareness of pesticide residue, significantly enhancing the demand of seed treatment,” CCPIA said, adding: “Seed treatment (provides for) less consumption and better effect, saving labor, time, seeds and pesticide. It is much safer than spraying on the field because it meets the requirements of prevention, green control, integrated control and environmental protection. Compared with the continued trend of GM seed prices, seed treatments enjoy low cost and better economic benefits, which has improved the development of the seed treatment industry.”
