EPA Approves Willowood Herbicide

Willowood USA has received EPA registration for Willowood Fomesafen 1.88SL and Willowood Fomesafen 2SL, according to a press release.

Willowood Fomesafen 1.88SL is a selective herbicide which may be applied pre-plant, pre-emergence or post-emergence for control or suppression of broadleaf weeds, grasses and sedges in soybeans, according to the company. Willowood Fomesafen 2SL is a selective herbicide which may be applied pre-plant surface, pre-emergence and/or postemergence for control or partial control of broadleaf weeds, grasses and sedges in cotton, dry beans, snap beans and soybeans.

“These two products add depth to our growing portfolio of herbicides,” said Brian Heinze, Willowood USA president and CEO in a statement. “These two new Willowood products give growers another herbicide choice for weed control in glyphosate tolerant situations.”
