Kleffmann Group Expands, Strengthens amis AgriGlobe

Based on the rising client interest in aggregated market data for global crop protection and seed markets and the need to evolve dynamically in response to the complex clients’ requests, Kleffmann Group has strengthened its’ Consulting Division amis®AgriGlobe®.

The developing team will continuously be managed by Dr. Bob Fairclough – Team leader and Director of the AgriGlobe® team. One of the two newly created sub-teams, the so called “Analytical team” will from now on be led by Dr. Puran Mal, who joined Kleffmann Group in 2015 as Data Support Analyst and has gained invaluable experience in analyzing and aggregating global input data. Dr. Puran Mal achieved his PhD in agriculture at the University of Giessen, Germany. Before that he studied Agricultural Economics at CCS Haryana Agricultural University Hisar, India.

The Analytical team now consists of five dedicated analysts, who take care of the well-known AgriGlobe® Database as well as customized desk-research and forecast studies.

The second sub-team is headed by Bob himself and will consist of a team of experts; forming the “Team of Excellence” (ToE).

Dr. Bob Fairclough was recently the keynote speaker for the AgriBusiness Global Trade Summit in Las Vegas; providing an update on the state of the crop protection market. As a conclusion, he considered that other Kleffmann experts could have been invited to speak about other important topics; so, created the idea to develop this sub-team.

The ToE will, among other roles, focus on speeches on different agricultural topics and representing Kleffmann Group at important conferences. Currently the ToE consist of five experts:

  • Bob Fairclough – expert for global crop protection and seed topics
  • Burkhard Kleffmann – expert for global crop protection and seed topics
  • Marcio Farah – expert for the Latin American agricultural markets
  • Björn Neumann – expert for the European agricultural markets with a special focus on seeds
  • David Soorholtz – expert for the North American agricultural markets and with a special focus on Animal Health

“I am sure that with the new structure, we can even better serve our customers at an executive level and share our knowledge by representing KG at global conferences”, Dr. Bob Fairclough says.
