Willowood USA: Offering Alternatives

Willowood Limited entered into an agreement with former AgValue President and CEO. Brian Heinze to form the US-based Willowood USA, which will operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Willowood Limited of Hong Kong, China.

Willowood USA develops, manufactures and markets post-patent crop protection products for the agriculture industry. As an additional entrant to the market, we provide quality products as an affordable alternative to the multinational basic manufacturers. Our primary focus is the high value horticulture markets that include all crops outside corn, cotton, cereals, and soybeans.

The company will start by providing the herbicides ethofumesate, glyphosate, oxyfluorfen and pronamide; the fungicides propiconazole and tebuconaxole; insecticides, plant growth regulators, defoliants and desiccants to wholesale distributors. Developing products for the primary crop segment where distributor, retailer and grower opportunities exist, Willowood USA will market its products through traditional distributors and retailers, utilizing their infrastructure and geographical presence to maximize sales opportunities.

Grower demand will be generated by offering high quality alternatives to brand name products at a significant savings and through grower meetings, mass mailings and advertising.
