Monsanto Withdraws Application for GM Cotton Seed in India

Seed giant Monsanto has chosen to withdraw its application to introduce its newest GM cotton seed variety in India in response to that country’s government’s insistence Monsanto share the technology Indian see companies, Reuters is reporting. The ongoing technology dispute also involves restrictions on how much Monsanto can charge for the product.
