Helm Agro U.S. Introduces Herbicide to Treat Broadleaf, Grass, and Sedge

Helm Agro U.S. has received federal Section 3 registration for its Helm Sulfentrazone 4F herbicide. The new offering, classified as a Group 14 herbicide, is registered for control of more than 100 broadleaf, grass, and sedge species in a wide variety of crops, including sunflowers, soybeans, tobacco, tomatoes and strawberries.

“We’re very excited about the launch of our new Sulfentrazone 4F herbicide,” noted Jan Stechmann, President of Helm Agro U.S. “In addition to its broad-spectrum activity, Sulfentrazone 4F offers growers many important benefits.  It’s highly effective against ALS-resistant weeds, such as kochia and Russian thistle, plus it can be applied pre-plant or pre-emergence in any tillage system. Furthermore, Helm Sulfentrazone 4F gives growers the flexibility to apply it by ground, air or through sprinkler irrigation systems.”
