Helm Agro US Introduces Verdure-X for Aquatic Weed Control
4 April 2016 Helm Agro US’ Verdure-X Herbicide has received federal Section 3 registration. The new herbicide, which contains the active ingredient diquat, is used for aquatic weed control in lakes, ponds and other slow-moving bodies of water.
“Verdure-X is a unique product designed to control the most common floating and submerged weeds found in America’s lakes, ponds, drainage ditches, irrigation canals, and other slow-moving bodies of water,” saidJan Stechmann, President of HELM AGRO US. “It’s ideal for use around docks and swimming areas, and is not harmful to aquatic animals or other wildlife when used as directed. In addition, it can be used as a desiccant to aid in the harvest of potatoes.”
