Willowood USA Receives EPA Appoval for New Herbicide

Willowood USA has received EPA and several state registrations for its new herbicide Willowood Clethodim 2EC, according to a press release.

Willowood Clethodim 2EC herbicide controls a wide range of the toughest annual and perennial grasses in soybeans, potatoes, sugarbeets, sunflowers, and many other crops. Willowood Clethodim 2EC also
improves the profitability of Roundup Ready corn-soybean rotations by controlling volunteer Roundup
Ready corn flushes in Roundup Ready soybeans, according to the company.

“The addition of Willowood Clethodim 2EC to our product portfolio adds a premium grass herbicide to our growing crop protection lineup,” said Joe Middione, vice-president sales and marketing, Willowood USA in a prepared statement. “Willowood USA continues to focus on the American Farmer by offering key generic products that help them protect their crop.”

Production of Willowood USA’s Clethodim 2EC will begin immediately with product being available through distribution by mid-May.
