AMVAC Buys BASF’s Terbufos

The deal will include rights to the active ingredient terbufos (tradename Counter), the manufacturing and formulation know-how, registration rights, intellectual property rights including the specialized closed application system “Lock ‘n Load,” and existing inventories.

BASF will continue to manufacture terbufos at its Hannibal, Missouri, US plant. For a limited time, BASF will also distribute terbufos products in Brazil, Central America, and Ecuador.
