Sumitomo to Expand R&D Capabilities for North American Health and Crop Sciences Business
15 April 2016 Sumitomo Chemical announced plans to beef up its research and development capabilities in North America for its health and crop sciences business by expanding its facilities.
Valent U.S.A. Corp. and Valent BioSciences Corp., which are owned by Sumitomo will expandi their respective research and development facilities. This move will help the company speed up research and development aimed at providing unique and innovative solutions based on the two technological disciplines of health and crop science, i.e. plant protection chemicals and biorationals.
