Abogados de la Comisi\u00f3n Europea<\/a> (CE) han detenido los esfuerzos de Polonia para prohibir el comercio y la siembra de semillas biotecnol\u00f3gicas con el argumento de que la prohibici\u00f3n no ten\u00eda justificaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica, seg\u00fan un art\u00edculo de Reuters.<\/p>\n

Los planes de Polonia para lo que equival\u00eda a una prohibici\u00f3n nacional de OMG generaron cr\u00edticas de los expertos de la CE el a\u00f1o pasado. Como se prob\u00f3 en varias ocasiones en el pasado, la CE considera que si una regi\u00f3n desea prohibir los cultivos o productos transg\u00e9nicos, tales restricciones deben estar cient\u00edficamente justificadas y ser espec\u00edficas para cada cultivo, y pueden no tener motivaciones pol\u00edticas.
