UU. (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.usda.gov\">USDA<\/a>) - han descubierto que algunos cultivares de cebada y trigo producen residuos de cultivos que difieren en la composici\u00f3n de la fibra, las proporciones de carbono \/ nitr\u00f3geno y otras caracter\u00edsticas. UU., Realiz\u00f3 un estudio de dos a\u00f1os de residuos de cultivos poscosecha con otros colegas de WSU y ARS. Identificaron v\u00ednculos entre los procesos de descomposici\u00f3n y las caracter\u00edsticas de fibra y nutrientes de la paja de los residuos de 17 cultivares de trigo de invierno, 16 cultivares de trigo de primavera y nueve cultivares de cebada de primavera cultivados en cuatro lugares en el sureste de Washington.
