Departamento de Protecci\u00f3n Vegetal<\/a> (PPD) del Ministerio de Agricultura y Desarrollo Rural, con financiamiento de Croplife Asia, una organizaci\u00f3n sin fines de lucro de biotecnolog\u00eda. El PPD tambi\u00e9n ha abierto escuelas de campo para agricultores (FFS) que ense\u00f1an el uso seguro de pesticidas y atraen a los participantes al concurso.<\/p>\nUna productora de frutas y verduras, Nguyen Thi Hai, dice que la capacitaci\u00f3n en PPD la ha ayudado a lograr una mayor producci\u00f3n, minimizar los residuos de pesticidas y aprender sobre el ciclo de vida de los insectos y la etapa correcta para aplicar pesticidas para diferentes plagas.<\/p>\n
Las iniciativas de formaci\u00f3n del PPD han llegado a la mitad de las 64 provincias y municipios de Vietnam, que est\u00e1 aumentando sus esfuerzos para cubrir m\u00e1s provincias cada a\u00f1o.
