Syngenta Protecci\u00f3n de Cultivos AG<\/a> y Ameba<\/a> han anunciado un acuerdo exclusivo de suministro y distribuci\u00f3n de un fungicida de biocontrol de pr\u00f3xima generaci\u00f3n (formulaci\u00f3n AXP20), basado en el lisado de la ameba. Willaertia<\/em> magna<\/em> C2c Maky (UE 2025\/1177). El acuerdo transforma el Memorando de Entendimiento (MdE) de noviembre de 2025 entre las empresas en una asociaci\u00f3n comercial y de desarrollo vinculante a largo plazo, cuyo producto se comercializar\u00e1 bajo la marca registrada de Syngenta una vez registrado.<\/p>\n

El acuerdo llega en un momento crucial, ya que los productores de cereales europeos se enfrentan a una reducci\u00f3n de sus herramientas de protecci\u00f3n de cultivos en un contexto de regulaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s estricta y creciente resistencia a los pat\u00f3genos.<\/p>\n

Se prev\u00e9 que los primeros registros en el mercado se produzcan en el tercer trimestre de 2028. Se espera que las primeras ventas en los principales mercados de la UE se realicen a finales de 2028 para que los agricultores las utilicen en la primavera de 2029 en trigo, espelta y triticale (primaveral e invierno).<\/p>\n

Derivada de una ameba unicelular, act\u00faa principalmente inhibiendo la germinaci\u00f3n de las esporas de hongos. En ensayos de campo, ha demostrado una gran eficacia contra la septoriosis y la roya amarilla, a la vez que activa las defensas naturales de la planta. Este doble efecto la convierte en una soluci\u00f3n id\u00f3nea para el manejo integrado de cultivos y una valiosa herramienta para el control de la resistencia.<\/p>\n

Debido a su actividad multisitio y multimecanismo, el lisado de Willaertia<\/em> magna<\/em> El C2c Maky est\u00e1 clasificado por el Comit\u00e9 de Acci\u00f3n contra la Resistencia a los Fungicidas (FRAC) dentro del Grupo BM02 (productos biol\u00f3gicos con m\u00faltiples modos de acci\u00f3n), sin resistencia conocida y con un riesgo de resistencia bajo a muy bajo.<\/p>\n
