Las asociaciones medioambientales argumentaron que REACH todav\u00eda no ha ido lo suficientemente lejos. Quieren estipular que una sustancia peligrosa siempre debe reemplazarse si hay sustancias sustitutivas disponibles, independientemente del costo. Con el fin de reducir la carga para la industria, el compromiso acordado prev\u00e9 una reducci\u00f3n en la cantidad de datos requeridos para tales sustancias, de las cuales solo se fabrican hasta 10 toneladas al a\u00f1o.
