Manila, Filipinas Instituto Internacional de Investigaciones sobre el Arroz <\/a>espera que los precios del arroz vuelvan a subir en 2009 por segundo a\u00f1o consecutivo, informa AFP. El instituto espera que las estrictas restricciones crediticias en todo el mundo dificulten que los agricultores obtengan el efectivo necesario para comprar productos b\u00e1sicos como semillas y fertilizantes. Adem\u00e1s, la econom\u00eda globalmente deprimida puede aumentar la demanda de arroz en los pa\u00edses en desarrollo, ya que la ca\u00edda de los niveles de ingresos obliga a las personas a volver a alimentos menos costosos, mientras que las existencias de arroz en niveles hist\u00f3ricamente bajos contribuyen a la volatilidad de los precios.<\/p>\n
