La regi\u00f3n es un centro para la biotecnolog\u00eda y la innovaci\u00f3n agr\u00edcola, dice Bill Buckner, presidente y director ejecutivo de la filial estadounidense de Bayer CropScience, Bayer CropScience LP. Bayer CropScience tiene actualmente un total de 2.400 empleados en los EE.
