Con la cosecha de soja brasile\u00f1a ahora completada 95%, las expectativas son altas para la cosecha del pr\u00f3ximo a\u00f1o, que actualmente el USDA-FAS proyecta alcanzar 61 MMT. Esto tambi\u00e9n se debe al gran cambio hacia el ma\u00edz en los Estados Unidos, ya que los productores aprovechan el repunte de los precios provocado por el etanol. Es probable que esto conduzca a la limpieza de nuevas tierras en las \u00e1reas de expansi\u00f3n del centro-oeste y norte de Brasil.
