UU., Aqu\u00ed hay algunos mercados selectos y c\u00f3mo sienten el impacto de los biocombustibles.<\/p>\n<p class=\"subhead\">FRANCIA<\/p>\n<p>Francia es un importante productor europeo de semillas de girasol, con entre 1,3 y 1,5 millones de toneladas m\u00e9tricas (MMT) producidas anualmente, seg\u00fan el Servicio de Agricultura Exterior del Departamento de Agricultura de EE. UU. Se espera que la demanda de materias primas utilizadas en biodiesel aumente la cantidad de \u00e1rea plantada de canola (el principal beneficiario, que deber\u00eda aumentar de 320.000 Ha en 2005 a 1,25 millones de Ha en 2010) y semillas de girasol (con un crecimiento de 50.000 Ha a 330.000 Ha. en 2010).&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"subhead\">RUSIA<\/p>\n<p>Aunque muestra un enorme potencial, el sector de la bioenerg\u00eda ruso permanece sin desarrollar, ya que sus necesidades energ\u00e9ticas se satisfacen localmente a trav\u00e9s del gas natural subsidiado. Sin embargo, las empresas extranjeras han iniciado planes para abastecer la creciente demanda de la UE. Como segundo productor mundial de aceite de palma, y con un excedente cercano a los 10 millones de toneladas, el aceite de palma tiene el mayor potencial, pero para que esto suceda, el aceite de palma tendr\u00eda que ofertarse fuera de los mercados de exportaci\u00f3n, donde la demanda es fuerte.<\/p>\n<p class=\"subhead\">SUD\u00c1FRICA<\/p>\n<p>La Corporaci\u00f3n de Desarrollo de Energ\u00eda de Sud\u00e1frica (EDC), una divisi\u00f3n del Fondo de Energ\u00eda Central (CEF) de propiedad estatal, comprar\u00e1 una participaci\u00f3n de 25.1% en Ethanol Africa, una empresa creada por agricultores comerciales para convertir el ma\u00edz excedente en biocombustible.
