El mercado mundial de productos fitosanitarios aument\u00f3 a $38.3 mil millones en 2010, un aumento de 1.2% con respecto a las cifras del a\u00f1o anterior de $37.8 mil millones, seg\u00fan un informe de Phillips McDougall<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Las estimaciones del informe muestran que 23,5% de las ventas de agroqu\u00edmicos en 2010 se atribuyeron a productos patentados, y 76,5% se debieron a productos sin patente.<\/p>\n

Cuando se basa en el an\u00e1lisis de ventas de la empresa, las empresas gen\u00e9ricas en realidad representan el 30.1% de las ventas totales, y el 69.9% de las ventas de la industria se pueden atribuir a las empresas impulsadas por I + D, no solo con mol\u00e9culas patentadas (23.5%), sino que el 46.4% de las ventas de productos est\u00e1n apagadas. -patenta y mantiene el estado de propiedad sin patente o gen\u00e9rico, seg\u00fan Phillips McDougall.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Cheminova<\/a> compr\u00f3 el negocio de dimetoato de Isagro.
\u2022 Makhteshim adquiri\u00f3 la empresa mexicana BravoAg y tambi\u00e9n asumi\u00f3 la propiedad 51% de la empresa coreana JK Inc.
\u2022 F\u00f3sforo unido<\/a> adquirido DuPont<\/a>los activos de mancozeb no mezclados y el distribuidor de agroqu\u00edmicos de arroz con sede en EE. UU. RiceCo.<\/p>\n

El valor del glifosato sigui\u00f3 cayendo en 2010. Un exceso de oferta de glifosato en los \u00faltimos dos a\u00f1os ha provocado la ca\u00edda de los precios, seg\u00fan Phillips McDougall.<\/p>\n

A pesar de esta p\u00e9rdida de valor, la participaci\u00f3n en las ventas de productos gen\u00e9ricos sigue aumentando.<\/p>\n

Nueve ingredientes activos nuevos ingresaron al mercado en 2010. Actualmente hay 37 ingredientes activos en proceso de desarrollo y se espera su introducci\u00f3n en los pr\u00f3ximos cinco a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n

El mercado de patentes perdi\u00f3 participaci\u00f3n en 2010 a pesar de la introducci\u00f3n de nuevos productos como el clorantraniliprol. Sin embargo, la expiraci\u00f3n de la patente de la azoxistrobina impidi\u00f3 un mayor crecimiento.<\/p>\n
