Durante los pr\u00f3ximos 10 a\u00f1os, proyecta que el mismo productor ver\u00e1 aumentar sus ganancias en $324,100 debido a una mayor productividad.<\/p>\n<p>Con la perspectiva de la aprobaci\u00f3n de nuevas tecnolog\u00edas, una mayor adopci\u00f3n por parte de los productores y mejoras de la tecnolog\u00eda existente, se espera que el beneficio econ\u00f3mico total de la adopci\u00f3n de transg\u00e9nicos en los pr\u00f3ximos 10 a\u00f1os alcance $118.2 mil millones, de los cuales 82% se destinar\u00e1n al cultivador.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEl caso del ma\u00edz es el ejemplo m\u00e1s llamativo del salto en rentabilidad e impacto ambiental que la biotecnolog\u00eda puede ofrecer a los productores. Y los impactos de esta adopci\u00f3n son a\u00fan m\u00e1s perceptibles para los peque\u00f1os y medianos productores, cuya competitividad est\u00e1 mejorando \u201d, dijo el presidente y agricultor brasile\u00f1o de ABRASEM, Narciso Barison Neto.<\/p>\n<p>El estudio tambi\u00e9n analiza los beneficios de la biotecnolog\u00eda para el medio ambiente y la sostenibilidad de la agroindustria brasile\u00f1a durante los \u00faltimos 16 a\u00f1os, desde que la semilla gen\u00e9ticamente modificada se comercializ\u00f3 en el pa\u00eds. Tambi\u00e9n toma en consideraci\u00f3n factores como el uso de agua, el consumo de diesel, las emisiones de carbono y el uso de pesticidas. <\/p>\n<p>El beneficio proyectado para el uso del agua desde 2012\/13 hasta 2021\/22 es de 167,4 mil millones de litros de ahorro de agua debido a la adopci\u00f3n de cultivos biotecnol\u00f3gicos.<\/p>\n<p>Realizado por Celeres y Celeres Ambiental, el estudio se realiza anualmente para ABRASEM desde 2008.
