Los recientes altos precios de los alimentos han provocado que al menos 29 pa\u00edses reduzcan dr\u00e1sticamente las exportaciones de alimentos, informa el New York Times<\/a>. En los \u00faltimos meses, India, Vietnam, China y otros 11 pa\u00edses han limitado o prohibido las exportaciones de arroz, mientras que Pakist\u00e1n, Bolivia y otras 13 naciones han reducido o detenido por completo las exportaciones de trigo. M\u00e1s de una docena tienen exportaciones limitadas de ma\u00edz y Kazajst\u00e1n ha restringido las exportaciones de semillas de girasol.<\/p>\n

"Las restricciones dificultan que los pa\u00edses importadores empobrecidos puedan pagar los alimentos que necesitan. Los l\u00edmites de exportaci\u00f3n est\u00e1n obligando a algunas de las personas m\u00e1s vulnerables, las que dependen de las agencias de ayuda, a pasar hambre", informa el Times.<\/p>\n
