En el caso de IMI, se envi\u00f3 un estudio DNT a la EPA en 2001 y un estudio separado fue presentado a las autoridades europeas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\">Si bien la EPA concluy\u00f3 que los estudios DNT para ACE e IMI se ejecutaron razonablemente y proporcionaron informaci\u00f3n aceptable para su uso en nuestras evaluaciones de riesgos, el Panel de la EFSA concluy\u00f3 que los tres estudios, en diversos grados, pueden haber subestimado los efectos potenciales, y no fue as\u00ed. Es posible sacar conclusiones firmes sobre las dosis que no causan efectos. Por esa raz\u00f3n, el Panel recomend\u00f3 interpretaciones alternativas de los resultados del estudio que podr\u00edan usarse en evaluaciones de riesgos europeas actualizadas. El Panel tambi\u00e9n recomend\u00f3 que se llevaran a cabo nuevos estudios con un protocolo de prueba DNT alternativo, pero similar, para determinar si podr\u00edan detectarse respuestas m\u00e1s sensibles. Finalmente, el Panel recomend\u00f3 que la EFSA establezca un proceso para determinar cu\u00e1ndo solicitar estudios de neurotoxicidad del desarrollo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\"><b>Revisi\u00f3n de la EPA de las conclusiones del Panel<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\">Aunque la EPA ha tenido poco tiempo para revisar el informe del Panel sobre la toxicidad de ACE e IMI, nuestra evaluaci\u00f3n inicial no justifica ning\u00fan cambio en nuestras conclusiones de evaluaci\u00f3n de riesgos actuales. Continuaremos revisando el informe del Panel.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\"><b>Revisi\u00f3n del registro de la EPA de los neonicotinoides<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\">El proceso de revisi\u00f3n del registro permite a la EPA actuar r\u00e1pidamente si los datos y las evaluaciones cient\u00edficas asociadas justifican tal acci\u00f3n.
