Los precios internacionales de los fertilizantes tambi\u00e9n disminuyeron el a\u00f1o pasado. Influenciados por la disminuci\u00f3n de los futuros de los cultivos, los agricultores comerciales han sido cautelosos acerca de sus inversiones en fertilizantes a pesar de las proporciones de fertilizante a cultivo relativamente favorables. En este contexto, la demanda mundial de fertilizantes aument\u00f3 modestamente en 2013 seg\u00fan la Asociaci\u00f3n Internacional de la Industria de Fertilizantes (IFA).<\/p>\n<p>Un factor fundamental a tener en cuenta son los subsidios a los fertilizantes, uno de los principales impulsores del consumo mundial de fertilizantes. Se espera que la demanda mundial de P se expanda 1.8% a 41.1 Mt, mientras que K aumenta en 2.6% a 28.7 Mt.<\/p>\n<p>Por regi\u00f3n, Heffer y Prud&#039;homme esperan que la demanda total de fertilizantes aumente en todas partes excepto en Am\u00e9rica del Norte y Europa occidental y central.<\/p>\n<p>De cara a 2014\/15, IFA prev\u00e9 que la demanda mundial de fertilizantes se expandir\u00e1 en 2.7% a 184.3 Mt, con un crecimiento m\u00e1s r\u00e1pido de la demanda de K a 4.9%.
