Licencia Creative Commons.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Investigadores de la Universidad de Sheffield, Reino Unido, descubrieron una nueva enzima receptora de plantas llamada IBI1 que permite a las plantas defenderse de insectos y enfermedades.<\/p>\n<p>El Dr. Jurrian Ton y el Dr. Estrella Luna identificaron IBI1 como la mol\u00e9cula clave en las c\u00e9lulas vegetales que puede hacer que el qu\u00edmico BABA para la protecci\u00f3n de cultivos haga su trabajo de manera m\u00e1s efectiva, seg\u00fan un <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sheffield.ac.uk\/news\/nr\/protect-crops-disease-1.370832\">comunicado de prensa.<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>BABA, o \u00e1cido beta-aminobut\u00edrico, es un <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/?term=Beta-amino-butyric%20acid\">bien conocido<\/a> inhibidor de pat\u00f3genos de plantas que protege contra el tiz\u00f3n de la papa y otras bacterias y par\u00e1sitos.
