El software se ha utilizado para procesos de mejoramiento asistido por marcadores y de rasgos biotecnol\u00f3gicos para desarrollar l\u00edneas de mejoramiento parental de \u00e9lite e h\u00edbridos de sorgo en Brasil.<\/p><\/div>\n

Bayer CropScience ha adquirido una licencia de varios a\u00f1os para utilizar el software de visualizaci\u00f3n del genoma desarrollado por Ceres Inc., la empresa de biotecnolog\u00eda agr\u00edcola anunci\u00f3 hoy en un comunicado de prensa.<\/a>.<\/p>\n

El software Pers\u00e9fone de la compa\u00f1\u00eda permite a los investigadores analizar grandes cantidades de datos gen\u00e9ticos en niveles macro y micro, desde cromosomas hasta bloques de construcci\u00f3n de ADN individuales. Al igual que el software de mapeo de los sistemas de informaci\u00f3n geogr\u00e1fica (SIG) permite a los usuarios agregar informaci\u00f3n meteorol\u00f3gica, de tr\u00e1fico u otra informaci\u00f3n a un mapa geogr\u00e1fico, los usuarios de Pers\u00e9fone pueden agregar capas e informaci\u00f3n relacionada con referencias cruzadas adem\u00e1s de los datos gen\u00e9ticos que recopila el software.<\/p>\n
