Seg\u00fan las estad\u00edsticas del Centro Nacional de Servicios y Extensi\u00f3n de Tecnolog\u00eda Agr\u00edcola de China (NATESC), el crecimiento de malezas en China ha aumentado significativamente, pasando de 74 millones de hect\u00e1reas en 2000 a 97,34 millones de hect\u00e1reas en 2013. El aumento en el crecimiento de malezas se ve agravado por un aumento de herbicidas resistencia. La terminaci\u00f3n del paraquat AS (soluci\u00f3n acuosa) ha dejado una brecha considerable en el mercado y parece que el glufosinato ofrece la alternativa m\u00e1s econ\u00f3micamente viable al paraquat. El n\u00famero de registros de glufosinato ha aumentado significativamente en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n
