Por ejemplo, tenemos varias tecnolog\u00edas nuevas en cereales y un nuevo herbicida que mejorar\u00e1 esa franquicia \u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Dow tambi\u00e9n planea llenar los vac\u00edos en la cartera de la compa\u00f1\u00eda para ofrecer una soluci\u00f3n m\u00e1s completa para los productores. En este caso, eso significa agregar un fungicida.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEuropa es una oportunidad de crecimiento espec\u00edfica para nosotros. Tenemos tecnolog\u00edas que provienen tanto de la protecci\u00f3n de cultivos como de las plataformas de semillas, especialmente en las Am\u00e9ricas \u201d.<\/p>\n<p>En 2014, Dow AgroSciences obtuvo $7.29 mil millones en ingresos de su cartera de ciencias agr\u00edcolas, de los cuales 78% fue protecci\u00f3n de cultivos y 22% fueron semillas. Am\u00e9rica del Norte y Am\u00e9rica Latina fueron los dos mercados m\u00e1s grandes con 40% y 31% respectivamente. Asia \/ Pac\u00edfico y Europa, Oriente Medio, \u00c1frica e India (EMEAI) representaron 10% y 19% de ingresos, respectivamente.<\/p>\n<p>Con la ca\u00edda de los precios de los cultivos b\u00e1sicos que afecta de manera desproporcionada a Am\u00e9rica, la empresa se ha centrado en los mercados en crecimiento, especialmente en India y China.<br \/>\n\u201cEl arroz es un cultivo clave para nosotros y somos l\u00edderes en el mercado de herbicidas para arroz\u201d, dice. &quot;Hemos lanzado nueva tecnolog\u00eda en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os y estamos a punto de lanzar otro producto que saldr\u00e1 de nuestro proceso de descubrimiento en los pr\u00f3ximos dos a\u00f1os&quot;.<\/p>\n<p>Dow lanzar\u00e1 su nueva tecnolog\u00eda en tres oleadas. La primera ola, que ya ha comenzado, incluye el insecticida activo Isoclast y el herbicida Enlist Duo (glifosato y 2,4-D). Isoclast (sulfoxaflor) active se lanz\u00f3 inicialmente en 2014 con registro en 22 pa\u00edses, y la compa\u00f1\u00eda espera agregar 11 m\u00e1s este a\u00f1o. El producto marca un nuevo segmento de mercado para Dow con un producto dise\u00f1ado para tratar insectos que se alimentan de savia.<br \/>\n&quot;Hemos recibido las aprobaciones para Canad\u00e1 y Estados Unidos (para Enlist Duo)&quot;, mientras que el lanzamiento est\u00e1 pendiente, dice Hassinger. Dow complet\u00f3 el primer paso en el proceso de aprobaci\u00f3n para Brasil y espera obtener las aprobaciones necesarias en Argentina a finales de este a\u00f1o. Las aprobaciones de cultivo se est\u00e1n moviendo seg\u00fan el plan. El siguiente paso es obtener las aprobaciones de importaci\u00f3n de China.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;Estamos en medio de ese proceso en este momento&quot;, dijo Hassinger. &quot;Es dif\u00edcil predecir exactamente cu\u00e1ndo ocurrir\u00e1 eso&quot;.<\/p>\n<p>La segunda ola centra la atenci\u00f3n en Europa.<br \/>\nDow tambi\u00e9n ha recibido el registro en tres pa\u00edses, incluida China, para un nuevo herbicida para cereales llamado herbicida activo Arylex (halauxifen-metil), un producto que complementa la cartera de herbicidas para cereales existente de la compa\u00f1\u00eda, dice Hassinger. Arylex active es un herbicida de malezas de hoja ancha para trigo, cebada y tambi\u00e9n se puede utilizar para quemar. El lanzamiento anticipado es entre 2015 y 2018. El lanzamiento anticipado de ese producto es entre 2018 y 2019.<\/p>\n<p>La tercera ola se centra en Asia.<br \/>\nEl nuevo herbicida para arroz de Dow, Rinskor (una nueva mol\u00e9cula de 6-arilpicolinato) activo, es un herbicida post-emergente que controla pastos, latifoliadas y juncos en m\u00faltiples cultivos. Encajar\u00e1 perfectamente en China e India, dice Hassinger. Se espera que Rinskor se lance entre 2018 y 2021.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEsas son las tecnolog\u00edas que destacamos durante los pr\u00f3ximos cinco a\u00f1os\u201d, dice Hassinger. \u201cEs la tuber\u00eda m\u00e1s s\u00f3lida y s\u00f3lida que jam\u00e1s hayamos tenido. Vemos a Puerto Rico como una instalaci\u00f3n que realmente complementa nuestro sitio de producci\u00f3n en Haw\u00e1i.
