Dow AgroSciences<\/a> y DuPont Pioneer<\/a> se convertir\u00e1n en los primeros miembros de la industria en unirse al Asociaci\u00f3n Internacional de Pruebas de Semillas<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cEs un honor ver que dos de los pilares principales de la industria de las semillas est\u00e1n comprometidos con el apoyo a la Asociaci\u00f3n\u201d, dice Beni Kaufman, secretario general de ISTA. \u201cComo su nombre lo indica, esta categor\u00eda est\u00e1 destinada a todos los miembros de la industria: grandes corporaciones, peque\u00f1as empresas y laboratorios comerciales por igual\u201d, agrega Kaufman.<\/p>\n

La membres\u00eda de la industria es nueva para la asociaci\u00f3n y con ella la organizaci\u00f3n est\u00e1 formando un nuevo grupo: el Grupo Asesor de la Industria.<\/p>\n

Este foro estar\u00e1 compuesto por hasta 15 miembros de ISTA y se encargar\u00e1 de la tarea de representar los intereses de la industria en la Asociaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

\u201cEn DuPont Pioneer, vemos esta nueva categor\u00eda de membres\u00eda como una oportunidad para llevar las pruebas del comercio internacional de semillas hacia la estandarizaci\u00f3n, ya sea fisiol\u00f3gica, gen\u00e9tica y de pureza de rasgos o propiedades f\u00edsicas, que es importante para mantener la integridad del comercio mundial de semillas\u201d, dijo Jeremy Bergstrom, director de pruebas de calidad global de DuPont Pioneer.<\/p>\n

\u201cLa colaboraci\u00f3n es muy importante para Dow AgroSciences, y este foro es una forma de asociarse con la asociaci\u00f3n y la industria para enfocarse en la calidad de semillas que necesitan los clientes\u201d, dice Janice Hotz, Directora de Calidad de Dow AgroSciences.
