El Dr. Kerovuo llega a NewLeaf procedente de Monsanto Co., donde ha liderado la estrategia de descubrimiento microbiano desde 2013. Anteriormente dirigi\u00f3 Soluciones microbianas y agr\u00edcolas en Agradis, una empresa derivada de Synthetic Genomics, la empresa con sede en San Diego fundada por Craig Venter . Obtuvo un doctorado en Bioqu\u00edmica en la Universidad de Helsinki en su Finlandia natal.<\/p>\n
