WASHINGTON DC - Funcionarios estadounidenses informan que un equipo de ge\u00f3logos estadounidenses y funcionarios del Pent\u00e1gono han descubierto en Afganist\u00e1n vastos dep\u00f3sitos previamente desconocidos de hierro, cobre, niobio, cobalto, oro y litio, seg\u00fan el New York Times<\/a>. Los dep\u00f3sitos minerales sin explotar, valorados en casi $1 bill\u00f3n, podr\u00edan convertir al pa\u00eds en uno de los centros mineros m\u00e1s importantes del mundo.
