El objetivo de esta iniciativa es lograr que la contribuci\u00f3n del sector manufacturero, que ronda las 15% del Producto Interno Bruto (PIB) del pa\u00eds, se incremente a 25% en los pr\u00f3ximos a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p>Antes de la campa\u00f1a Make in India, los problemas generales que enfrentaban los inversores en India se reflejaban en el informe del Banco Mundial, \u201cFacilidad para hacer negocios\u201d, en el que India ocupa el puesto 142 entre 189 pa\u00edses. Esta fue una de las razones por las que las empresas agroqu\u00edmicas multinacionales no invirtieron en India en comparaci\u00f3n con otros pa\u00edses asi\u00e1ticos.<\/p>\n<p>Pero ahora el gobierno de la India est\u00e1 promoviendo su ambiciosa iniciativa, con el objetivo de transformar el pa\u00eds de ser la tercera econom\u00eda m\u00e1s grande de Asia en una potencia manufacturera global. La iniciativa se ha fijado el ambicioso objetivo de crear 100 millones de puestos de trabajo adicionales en el sector manufacturero para 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Hitos de la iniciativa de crecimiento, competitividad y procesos:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>El gobierno ha anunciado muchas medidas para mejorar la competitividad del sector.<\/li>\n<li>La proporci\u00f3n de fabricaci\u00f3n aprobada por el Gabinete seg\u00fan la antigua Comisi\u00f3n de Planificaci\u00f3n contribuir\u00eda con 25% del PIB para 2025.<\/li>\n<li>Se otorga aprobaci\u00f3n para Inversi\u00f3n Extranjera Directa (IED) hasta 100% en el sector de productos qu\u00edmicos, impuestos especiales reducidos de 14% a 10%, junto con fuertes leyes antidumping para promover a\u00fan m\u00e1s la industria.<\/li>\n<li>Las entradas acumuladas de IED en la industria qu\u00edmica alcanzaron $10,588 millones entre abril de 2000 y junio de 2015.<\/li>\n<li>Un enfoque dedicado hacia la innovaci\u00f3n y la investigaci\u00f3n y el desarrollo, ya que el gobierno est\u00e1 tratando de apoyar el movimiento del sector qu\u00edmico hacia arriba en la cadena de valor de productos qu\u00edmicos a granel a productos qu\u00edmicos de mayor valor agregado.
