{"id":61056,"date":"2018-04-02T14:01:43","date_gmt":"2018-04-02T18:01:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.agribusinessglobal.com\/?p=61056"},"modified":"2019-09-25T06:31:55","modified_gmt":"2019-09-25T10:31:55","slug":"ipm-and-icm-the-unique-opportunities-and-challenges-for-biopesticides","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.agribusinessglobal.com\/es\/biopesticides\/ipm-and-icm-the-unique-opportunities-and-challenges-for-biopesticides\/","title":{"rendered":"IPM e ICM: oportunidades y desaf\u00edos \u00fanicos para los bioplaguicidas"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>El manejo integrado de cultivos (ICM) es un enfoque hol\u00edstico para el manejo de cultivos, que integra pr\u00e1cticas de manejo agr\u00edcola y ambiental, como la selecci\u00f3n de sitios \u00f3ptimos, la rotaci\u00f3n de cultivos y la optimizaci\u00f3n de la nutrici\u00f3n de los cultivos, el manejo del suelo y el agua, as\u00ed como el medio ambiente, la energ\u00eda y los desechos. estrategias de manejo y protecci\u00f3n integral de cultivos, de acuerdo con las condiciones, el clima y los requisitos locales.<\/p>\n<p>Impulsadas por la legislaci\u00f3n, as\u00ed como por las demandas de los consumidores y la industria, las estrategias de ICM integran el conocimiento y la experiencia locales con la investigaci\u00f3n y las innovaciones tecnol\u00f3gicas para garantizar una producci\u00f3n agr\u00edcola sostenible.<\/p>\n<p>El Manejo Integrado de Plagas (MIP) es parte del Manejo Integrado de Cultivos (ICM) y el concepto se introdujo hace m\u00e1s de 50 a\u00f1os como respuesta a la preponderancia de insecticidas convencionales de amplio espectro, principalmente neurot\u00f3xicos disponibles en el mercado.<\/p>\n<p>Actualmente, la definici\u00f3n de &quot;plaga&quot; en IPM incluye plagas de vertebrados e invertebrados (por ejemplo, aves, insectos, \u00e1caros y nematodos), pat\u00f3genos de plantas (por ejemplo, hongos, bacterias y virus), as\u00ed como malezas.<\/p>\n<p>El objetivo del MIP es mantener las poblaciones de plagas por debajo de los niveles que causar\u00edan p\u00e9rdidas econ\u00f3micas con un impacto m\u00ednimo en el medio ambiente, e integra varias estrategias que incluyen control qu\u00edmico, biol\u00f3gico y mec\u00e1nico, tecnolog\u00eda de precisi\u00f3n y herramientas de apoyo a la toma de decisiones (por ejemplo, big data, incluyendo modelos de exploraci\u00f3n y d\u00edas-grado para la predicci\u00f3n de plagas) y la activaci\u00f3n de las respuestas de defensa natural de las plantas, as\u00ed como el uso de cultivares resistentes. El objetivo es reducir el uso de plaguicidas qu\u00edmicos y gestionar el desarrollo de resistencia en las plagas objetivo tanto a los plaguicidas qu\u00edmicos como a las toxinas biopesticidas.<\/p>\n<p>Al introducir modos de acci\u00f3n \u00fanicos, los bioplaguicidas se utilizan en estrategias integradas con plaguicidas tradicionales para aumentar el rendimiento de los proporcionar estrategias de resistencia.<\/p>\n<p>Si bien la adopci\u00f3n de estrategias de MIP m\u00e1s &quot;basadas en la biolog\u00eda&quot; en el campo a\u00fan es baja, en parte debido a una percepci\u00f3n de menor y variable eficacia y una mayor dependencia de las condiciones ambientales por parte de los usuarios finales, el control biol\u00f3gico juega un papel importante en la producci\u00f3n de cultivos de invernadero, principalmente debido a su efectividad en condiciones ambientales controladas, corta persistencia y bajo riesgo para el operador.<\/p>\n<p>Con los avances en el desarrollo de bioplaguicidas y los avances tecnol\u00f3gicos en el uso y la aplicaci\u00f3n de pesticidas convencionales y biol\u00f3gicos, ahora tenemos una oportunidad real de armonizar la protecci\u00f3n biol\u00f3gica y qu\u00edmica de los cultivos y hacer realidad el concepto de MIP como una soluci\u00f3n verdaderamente sostenible y hol\u00edstica para los cultivos actuales.
