El lanzamiento es el tercero y \u00faltimo de una iniciativa de CTA que apoya la ampliaci\u00f3n de tecnolog\u00edas agr\u00edcolas clim\u00e1ticamente inteligentes probadas en Jamaica, Mal\u00ed y ahora Etiop\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>El proyecto de 22 meses, titulado &#039;Acelerar la adopci\u00f3n de la agricultura clim\u00e1ticamente inteligente en Etiop\u00eda&#039;, ayudar\u00e1 a los peque\u00f1os agricultores a adaptarse al cambio clim\u00e1tico mediante la adopci\u00f3n de tecnolog\u00edas y pr\u00e1cticas clim\u00e1ticamente inteligentes, incluida la provisi\u00f3n de informaci\u00f3n meteorol\u00f3gica y de mercado basada en TIC. Se dirigir\u00e1 a 20.000 peque\u00f1os agricultores en tres distritos (conocidos como woredas) de la regi\u00f3n, a saber, Halaba special woreda, Hadero Tunto y Damot Gale.<\/p>\n<p>La agricultura clim\u00e1ticamente inteligente (CSA, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s) se ha desarrollado como un enfoque para lograr &#039;triples victorias&#039; en la agricultura a trav\u00e9s del aumento de la productividad agr\u00edcola, la adaptaci\u00f3n (apoyar los cultivos para que crezcan en condiciones clim\u00e1ticas cambiantes) y la mitigaci\u00f3n (reducir las emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero). A pesar de la existencia de muchas innovaciones de CSA, la adopci\u00f3n masiva de estos enfoques agr\u00edcolas potencialmente revolucionarios por parte de los agricultores ha sido lenta.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNecesitamos desarrollar la capacidad de los peque\u00f1os agricultores para hacer frente a la variabilidad clim\u00e1tica impredecible mediante innovaciones en tecnolog\u00eda y mejores pr\u00e1cticas agr\u00edcolas.
