Las granjas familiares se convirtieron en negocios y los negocios nacionales se internacionalizaron.<\/p>\n<p>La semana pasada, tuve el placer de recibir a Zhang Xingwang, Director General del Departamento de Mecanizaci\u00f3n Agr\u00edcola, Ministerio de Agricultura y Asuntos Rurales) de la Rep\u00fablica Popular China y su director de divisi\u00f3n de gesti\u00f3n en nuestra sede corporativa en Newport Beach, California. Les habl\u00e9 sobre la nueva era de la agricultura global que ahora est\u00e1 reemplazando a la agricultura moderna. \u00c9sta es la esencia de esas discusiones.<\/p>\n<p>La agricultura se est\u00e1 volviendo m\u00e1s compleja tanto para los productores agr\u00edcolas modernos como para los agricultores org\u00e1nicos. Estamos viendo una clara divisi\u00f3n entre granjas grandes y peque\u00f1as en todo el mundo, con operaciones m\u00e1s grandes en lugares como Am\u00e9rica, Europa del Este, Australia y el Reino Unido y granjas m\u00e1s peque\u00f1as en India, China, el sudeste de Asia y \u00c1frica. Las empresas del negocio de insumos agr\u00edcolas (semillas, fertilizantes, protecci\u00f3n de cultivos, bioestimulantes y similares) deben estar preparadas para responder a cambios r\u00e1pidos, reconocer nuevas tendencias y aprovechar las oportunidades que acompa\u00f1ar\u00e1n la transformaci\u00f3n continua de la agricultura global.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Se intensifica la tendencia de fusiones y adquisiciones<\/strong><br \/>\nLa globalizaci\u00f3n continuar\u00e1 a medida que muchas empresas regionales de tama\u00f1o medio (~ $500M en ingresos) busquen crecimiento y expansi\u00f3n internacional. Esto ocurre a trav\u00e9s de empresas conjuntas, adquisiciones, alianzas y fusiones.
