su oferta total, seg\u00fan Bloomberg<\/a>. Jap\u00f3n obtiene actualmente alrededor de 60% de sus env\u00edos de trigo y 74% de sus importaciones de soja de EE. UU.<\/p>\n

Para el a\u00f1o fiscal que finaliz\u00f3 el 31 de marzo de 2009, la autosuficiencia alimentaria de Jap\u00f3n fue de alrededor de 41%, la tasa m\u00e1s alta entre los pa\u00edses desarrollados, seg\u00fan
al Ministerio de Agricultura, Silvicultura y Pesca<\/a>. Seg\u00fan el nuevo plan del gobierno, dice Nobutaka Tsutui, un legislador del Partido Democr\u00e1tico de Jap\u00f3n (PDJ) a cargo de la pol\u00edtica agr\u00edcola, el pa\u00eds podr\u00eda aumentar su tasa de autosuficiencia alimentaria a 50% para 2019. Sin embargo, algunos dicen que el plan no es realista; Charlie Utsunomiya, director de la oficina de Tokio de Asociados de trigo de EE.
