Ese fue el mensaje del profesor Franck Dayan de la Universidad Estatal de Colorado, quien pronunci\u00f3 un discurso de apertura sobre las perspectivas actuales y futuras en el descubrimiento de herbicidas en la Conferencia de Agronom\u00eda de Australia celebrada en Toowoomba esta semana.<\/p>\n<p>El profesor Dayan dijo que la consolidaci\u00f3n de empresas en la industria qu\u00edmica agr\u00edcola, junto con un enfoque en el desarrollo de cultivos resistentes al glifosato, ha hecho poco para reforzar el arsenal del productor contra las malas hierbas. \u201cEst\u00e1n surgiendo muy pocos modos de acci\u00f3n nuevos, pero no todo son malas noticias\u201d, dijo el profesor Dayan.<\/p>\n<p>Entre los motivos de esperanza se encuentran la capacidad de las empresas qu\u00edmicas tradicionales y los innovadores para convertir la qu\u00edmica antigua y nueva en nuevos modos de acci\u00f3n, y el uso de la innovaci\u00f3n procedente de las empresas emergentes.<\/p>\n<p>El
