Hoy encontramos que el valor total del mercado global es de alrededor de $6,2 mil millones, incluidos los reguladores del crecimiento de las plantas. Si excluimos los reguladores del crecimiento de las plantas, son alrededor de $5 mil millones. Cuando miramos a trav\u00e9s de las regiones, hay algunas diferencias claras en la trayectoria del mercado en diferentes regiones.<\/p>\n<p>En Estados Unidos y Europa, el mercado del biocontrol se ha centrado en gran medida en frutas y verduras. Percibo que para 2030, la tasa de crecimiento probablemente ser\u00e1 m\u00e1s similar a la que vemos en el mercado tradicional de pesticidas qu\u00edmicos.<\/p>\n<p>Brasil es un panorama completamente diferente. En Brasil, el mercado est\u00e1 creciendo a tasas altas de dos d\u00edgitos alrededor del rango TP3T de mediados de 201. Parte de la raz\u00f3n es que el gobierno brasile\u00f1o ha simplificado el proceso de registro de productos biol\u00f3gicos.<\/p>\n<p>Han instituido otros incentivos para que tanto los productores como los fabricantes promuevan el uso de productos biol\u00f3gicos y todas esas cosas que se combinan para permitir que el mercado crezca. La mayor diferencia entre Brasil y el resto del mundo, especialmente en el hemisferio norte, es que vemos un uso generalizado de productos biol\u00f3gicos en cultivos en hileras en Brasil. No hemos visto eso en ning\u00fan otro lugar del mundo todav\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>Cuando miramos a la UE, el mayor desaf\u00edo es el sistema regulatorio que hace extremadamente dif\u00edcil registrar nuevos productos microbianos. Mientras que en EE. UU. y Am\u00e9rica Latina, vemos que los microbianos representan entre el 50% y el 60% del mercado de biocontrol. En Europa, representan menos de 15%, y eso est\u00e1 directamente relacionado con la dificultad de obtener la aprobaci\u00f3n del registro para nuevos productos microbianos en Europa.<\/p>\n<p>Hay muchas diferencias en las diferentes regiones del mundo. Cuando miramos a un nivel alto a nivel mundial, vemos que el mercado crece actualmente entre 10% y 12%. El crecimiento de Asia se sit\u00faa entre la tasa de crecimiento que vemos en Estados Unidos y Am\u00e9rica Latina. No es tan r\u00e1pido como Brasil, pero estamos viendo un crecimiento constante en el Sudeste Asi\u00e1tico, India y China, tanto con productos bioqu\u00edmicos como con productos basados en extractos de plantas. Se est\u00e1 observando un crecimiento en las feromonas utilizadas en muchos de los cultivos en Asia. Tambi\u00e9n vemos microbios, aunque no tienen una participaci\u00f3n de mercado tan grande en Asia como en Am\u00e9rica del Norte y Am\u00e9rica Latina.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c1frica siempre ha sido un mercado un poco m\u00e1s desafiante. Pero s\u00ed vemos focos de uso realmente significativo de biocontroles en Sud\u00e1frica, Kenia, Egipto y Marruecos.
