Se espera que las inversiones estrat\u00e9gicas que hemos realizado rindan resultados favorables en la segunda mitad del a\u00f1o.<\/li>\n<li>La deuda neta aument\u00f3 en $627 millones en el segundo trimestre del a\u00f1o fiscal 25 en comparaci\u00f3n con el cierre del a\u00f1o 24 de marzo. El aumento correspondiente el a\u00f1o pasado fue de $1,639 millones.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Al comentar sobre el desempe\u00f1o del segundo trimestre del a\u00f1o fiscal 2025, Jai Shroff, presidente y director ejecutivo del grupo, dijo: &quot;Nuestro crecimiento de volumen contin\u00faa y estamos en camino de lograr nuestros niveles de orientaci\u00f3n de EBITDA y deuda neta. Con nuestros fundamentos intactos, vimos un s\u00f3lido crecimiento de volumen en nuestro negocio global de protecci\u00f3n de cultivos. En India, hubo un impulso positivo general. Aproximar las ventas a la temporada de aplicaciones ha optimizado nuestros requisitos de capital de trabajo y minimizado la probabilidad de devoluciones de ventas. Continuaremos concentr\u00e1ndonos en aplicar normas de cr\u00e9dito e inventario m\u00e1s estrictas para mejorar los flujos de efectivo.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEn nuestra plataforma global de semillas, Advanta, estamos de nuevo en marcha despu\u00e9s de algunos obst\u00e1culos en el primer trimestre. Nuestro crecimiento este trimestre fue positivo para los m\u00e1rgenes, impulsado por los precios favorables en el sorgo y el ma\u00edz. Se espera que el continuo impulso comercial produzca resultados favorables en la segunda mitad del a\u00f1o\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Al comentar sobre el desempe\u00f1o del segundo trimestre del a\u00f1o fiscal 25, Mike Frank, director ejecutivo de UPL Corporation Ltd., dijo:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLos fundamentos del mercado mundial de protecci\u00f3n de cultivos siguen siendo s\u00f3lidos. Seguimos viendo una s\u00f3lida demanda de nuestros productos por parte de los distribuidores y de las explotaciones agr\u00edcolas en la mayor\u00eda de las regiones, como se ha podido comprobar en el crecimiento de nuestro volumen de 13% del \u00faltimo trimestre. El segmento de fungicidas lider\u00f3 este crecimiento, encabezado por los productos mancozeb a nivel mundial, as\u00ed como otros fungicidas de primera calidad en Europa.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHemos seguido creciendo en nuestro negocio de BioSolutions NPP, que creci\u00f3 10%. En concreto, nuestra oferta de biocontrol en Am\u00e9rica Latina y Europa ha recibido una fuerte demanda de los clientes. Adem\u00e1s, NPP se vio respaldada por los vol\u00famenes de bioestimulantes en Brasil.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEn l\u00ednea con nuestra estrategia, continuamos mejorando la combinaci\u00f3n de productos de los segmentos diferenciados y sostenibles, que aument\u00f3 de ~35% el a\u00f1o pasado a ~37% en la actualidad.
