Actualmente, esta industria representa aproximadamente 2,51 billones de d\u00f3lares de todas las operaciones de capital riesgo y solo 1,641 billones de d\u00f3lares del total de capital riesgo. Por cada salida, se producen aproximadamente 14 inversiones, lo que demuestra la complejidad del panorama.<\/p>\n<p>Solo en el segundo trimestre, 149 startups de tecnolog\u00eda agr\u00edcola recaudaron alrededor de 1550 millones de d\u00f3lares, lo que representa una ca\u00edda de 161 millones de d\u00f3lares con respecto al primer trimestre de 2025 y una disminuci\u00f3n de 201 millones de d\u00f3lares en el n\u00famero de acuerdos. Hubo 11 salidas, principalmente mediante adquisiciones, por lo que, si bien todav\u00eda hay actividad, observamos mayor cautela en el mercado.<\/p>\n<p>Hay una clara tendencia hacia acuerdos m\u00e1s peque\u00f1os, adquisiciones complementarias, empresas conjuntas y colaboraciones entre grandes y peque\u00f1as empresas. Las empresas m\u00e1s grandes quieren alejarse de los modelos de bajo margen y con un alto consumo de materias primas, especialmente en fertilizantes y productos qu\u00edmicos, y buscan diversificarse mediante la tecnolog\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>Dicho esto, la presi\u00f3n sobre las startups se ha intensificado. Los inversores ahora esperan rentabilidad m\u00e1s r\u00e1pida, lo cual es un reto considerable en el sector agr\u00edcola, donde la adopci\u00f3n de tecnolog\u00eda lleva tiempo. Existe una mayor demanda de disciplina financiera, y los inversores de capital riesgo, especialmente los estrat\u00e9gicos, son reacios al riesgo. Prefieren invertir una vez que hay evidencia de rentabilidad, un s\u00f3lido capital de trabajo y una adopci\u00f3n demostrada en las explotaciones agr\u00edcolas.<\/p>\n<p>En cuanto a la agricultura regenerativa, el inter\u00e9s est\u00e1 creciendo, pero la econom\u00eda impulsa el comportamiento de los agricultores. La rentabilidad y el rendimiento siguen siendo las principales prioridades, seguidas del ahorro de costes. Si una soluci\u00f3n regenerativa ofrece estos beneficios, los agricultores la adoptar\u00e1n.<\/p>\n<p>Un buen ejemplo es la implementaci\u00f3n de tecnolog\u00eda de conectividad en Terranova Farms, California. Este proyecto les ahorr\u00f3 $65,000 al a\u00f1o y redujo el consumo de agua en 30%, cumpliendo claramente con los tres objetivos: rendimiento, rentabilidad y sostenibilidad.<\/p>\n<p>En resumen, la inversi\u00f3n no se ha estancado por completo \u2014a\u00fan hay capital disponible\u2014, pero es m\u00e1s selectiva y el list\u00f3n para el \u00e9xito es m\u00e1s alto.
