UU. (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.fas.usda.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">USDA-FAS<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Despu\u00e9s de una exitosa cosecha de 2007, las encuestas iniciales de siembra muestran que los productores planean aumentar las \u00e1reas sembradas de trigo el pr\u00f3ximo a\u00f1o. Se estima que hay 89.000 productores de trigo en Chile, de los cuales un poco m\u00e1s de 10.000 productores est\u00e1n en el llamado grupo de subsistencia con pocos o ning\u00fan cultivo alternativo. Poco m\u00e1s de 70.000 son peque\u00f1os agricultores, 5.000 son medianos productores y menos de 3.000 son grandes productores.<\/p>\n<p>Si bien los precios de la avena competitiva tambi\u00e9n son altos, los aumentos en los precios de los combustibles y fertilizantes han hecho que el trigo sea m\u00e1s atractivo que la avena, ya que es un cultivo de menor costo y menos riesgoso, particularmente en las regiones de Temuco y Osorno, donde m\u00e1s del 50% del se siembra trigo total.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Con precios altos y un clima favorable, Chile espera otra buena cosecha de trigo, seg\u00fan el Departamento de Agricultura de EE.
