Heinz Imhof, ex presidente del Consejo de Syngenta AG<\/a>, falleci\u00f3 en Ginebra, Suiza, el 10 de octubre, a los 66 a\u00f1os, despu\u00e9s de una larga enfermedad. Dirigi\u00f3 la Junta Directiva y el Comit\u00e9 Ejecutivo de Syngenta desde su creaci\u00f3n en noviembre de 2000 hasta su renuncia en 2005. Despu\u00e9s de leer Agronom\u00eda en la ETH de Z\u00farich, Heinz Imhof se incorpor\u00f3 a Sandoz. La distinguida carrera internacional de Imhof comenz\u00f3 con Sandoz despu\u00e9s de sus estudios de agronom\u00eda en la ETH de Z\u00farich, y finalmente lo llev\u00f3 a un puesto en la alta direcci\u00f3n.
