Trade Summit Returns This Week

Once a year those who work with crop inputs have an opportunity to come together, learn about the latest trends, gain insight into where the industry is headed, and meet with peers to make deals essential to success. All of these are critical for making smarter business decisions.

This year two events take place in Atlantic City, New Jersey, at the Harrah’s Resort, with back-to-back conferences 29 July-1 August. The week begins with Biostimulant CommerceCon, the highly successful event from AgriBusiness GlobalTM that focuses on teaching the supply chain how to turn this rapidly growing segment into profit. As Biostimulant CommerceCon ends, the 14th annual AgriBusiness GlobalSM Trade Summit, the most respected crop input event in the industry, begins.

Once again, the programming for these two conferences brings together some of the most respected thought leaders in the industry. They’ve agreed to share their knowledge and insights on crop inputs and what it will take to continue to grow and profit in the coming years. I already wrote about Biostimulant CommerceCon here, so here I will focus on the Trade Summit.

The conference opens with a look at “Investment in AgTech – The Rising Trend of Raising Funds, Digital Farming, and Biostimulants.” Biostimulant companies are raising rounds worth millions to grow their brands. This session will help delegates learn what investors view as the optimal conditions and company characteristics for fund infusions like these.

That session is followed by “Crop Inputs 2025 — What Is Ahead for the Global Industry?” This session includes a panel of industry leaders, including Bob Trogele, COO, AMVAC; Subhra Jyoti Roy, Vice President of International Business, Rallis India; Daniel B. Custis, CEO, Advanced Biological Marketing; and C S Liew, Managing Director, Pacific Agriscience. These experts will look at the future of the industry.
