Last year almost 4,000 were completed covering 1.3 million hectares (Ha) – about 0.4 million Ha below the Voluntary Initiative’s (VI) target. Responsible groups hope the new online version will help reach the VI 2009 target of 1.7 million Ha.

National Farmers’ Union Deputy President Meurig Raymond said: “The CPMP remains a vital measure for proper planning when using pesticides and this is great news that it is now available online.” The new format will be updated every year encouraging a regular annual review.
