CPDA elogia o reconhecimento de adjuvantes pela EPA dos EUA na estratégia final de inseticidas

O Conselho de Produtores e Distribuidores de Agrotecnologia (CPDA) applauds the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for its continued commitment to science-based mitigation strategies in the final 2025 Insecticide Strategy.

We are especially encouraged by the Agency’s recognition of drift reduction adjuvants (DRAs) as it evaluates additional tools to reduce off-target movement of pesticides. CPDA has provided extensive data to EPA demonstrating the effectiveness of adjuvants in enhancing application precision, minimizing spray drift and decreasing the need for burdensome buffer zones. We are pleased to see this information being considered as part of the Agency’s review of mitigation options.

“Drift reduction adjuvants play a critical role in improving application efficiency while supporting environmental stewardship,” said Terry Kippley, President and CEO of CPDA. “We appreciate EPA’s consideration of these tools and its efforts to support workable, real-world solutions for growers.”

CPDA looks forward to continuing its collaboration with EPA to ensure that growers have access to a broad set of effective, science-backed mitigation options that support both agricultural productivity and species protection.
