Syngenta Prices May Rise 10%
Sygnenta, citing raw material costs, could increase the prices of its pesticides by 10% next year, according to Bloomberg.
Syngenta’s production costs are expected to increase by US $30 million to $50 million this year, said CEO Michael Mack in an interview.
"We could be looking at something like a 10% price increase" for customers if the crude oil price continues to rise, said Mack. Syngenta raised prices 3% in the first quarter and expects earnings growth of more than 20% this year, the article states.
