Em 29 de maio de 2009, o Parlamento Nacional da Rep\u00fablica da S\u00e9rvia adotou uma nova Lei de Organismos Geneticamente Modificados (OGM) que pro\u00edbe totalmente a possibilidade de cultivo comercial de organismos vivos modificados, ou com\u00e9rcio com organismos vivos modificados e produtos derivados de organismos geneticamente modificados. Com a nova lei de OGM, a importa\u00e7\u00e3o s\u00e9rvia de farelo de soja (da soja Roundup Ready) para alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o de gado n\u00e3o \u00e9 mais poss\u00edvel, de acordo com um USDA-FAS<\/a> GANHO<\/a> relat\u00f3rio.<\/p>\n

A Lei sobre Organismos Geneticamente Modificados adotada pelo Parlamento S\u00e9rvio em 29 de maio de 2009 regula as condi\u00e7\u00f5es b\u00e1sicas para o uso de OGM em sistemas fechados (trabalho de laborat\u00f3rio, estufas) e libera\u00e7\u00e3o deliberada no meio ambiente (trabalho experimental no campo) de OGM. A lei pro\u00edbe o cultivo comercial de OGM ou o com\u00e9rcio com OGM e produtos derivados de OGM \u2014 uma pr\u00e1tica considerada mais restritiva do que as regulamenta\u00e7\u00f5es da UE. De acordo com a lei anterior sobre OGM, era poss\u00edvel importar soja Roundup Ready (RR), o \u00fanico produto OGM que era permitido para importa\u00e7\u00e3o na S\u00e9rvia devido \u00e0 produ\u00e7\u00e3o local limitada e ao d\u00e9ficit constante de farelo de soja para ra\u00e7\u00e3o de gado. Sob a nova lei, a S\u00e9rvia n\u00e3o poder\u00e1 mais importar farelo de soja de soja RR e os produtores locais de ra\u00e7\u00e3o para gado ter\u00e3o que comprar farelo de soja de produtores locais. A S\u00e9rvia importava principalmente farelo de soja do Brasil e da Argentina.<\/p>\n

Para MY2009\/10, a S\u00e9rvia plantou 160.000 hectares (Ha) de soja e, dado um rendimento m\u00e9dio de 2,3 MT\/Ha, provavelmente produzir\u00e1 cerca de 360.000 MT de soja. A produ\u00e7\u00e3o local de farelo de soja aumentou nos \u00faltimos dois anos devido ao aumento da \u00e1rea plantada com soja e \u00e0 expans\u00e3o das instala\u00e7\u00f5es locais de esmagamento. Para MY09\/10, a previs\u00e3o \u00e9 de atingir 220.000 MT. O consumo de farelo de soja \u00e9 estimado em cerca de 250-270.000 MT, com poss\u00edvel d\u00e9ficit de cerca de 30-50.000 MT que pode ser coberto apenas por importa\u00e7\u00f5es.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
