De acordo com USDA<\/a>30 de junho Relat\u00f3rio de \u00e1rea plantada<\/a>, os acres de soja aumentaram 2% em rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao ano passado, relata Imprensa Delta Farm<\/a>. A \u00e1rea plantada de soja para 2009 \u00e9 estimada em um recorde de 77,5 milh\u00f5es de acres. Em 76,5 milh\u00f5es de acres, a \u00e1rea colhida \u00e9 3% maior que em 2008 e ser\u00e1 a maior j\u00e1 registrada, se concretizada.<\/p>\n

Em compara\u00e7\u00e3o com o ano passado, a \u00e1rea plantada aumentou em 200.000 acres ou mais nos estados de Kansas, Mississippi, Missouri, Dakota do Norte e Dakota do Sul. A maior redu\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 em Nebraska, queda de 400.000 acres em rela\u00e7\u00e3o a 2008, j\u00e1 que muitos produtores mudaram para milho este ano. A \u00e1rea plantada recorde \u00e9 estimada em Kansas, Nova York, Dakota do Norte e Pensilv\u00e2nia.
