Departamento de Prote\u00e7\u00e3o Vegetal<\/a> (PPD) do Minist\u00e9rio da Agricultura e Desenvolvimento Rural, com financiamento da Croplife Asia, uma organiza\u00e7\u00e3o sem fins lucrativos de biotecnologia. O PPD tamb\u00e9m abriu Escolas de Campo para Agricultores (FFS), que ensinam o uso seguro de pesticidas e atraem participantes para o concurso.<\/p>\nUma produtora de frutas e vegetais, Nguyen Thi Hai, diz que o treinamento PPD a ajudou a atingir maior produ\u00e7\u00e3o, minimizar res\u00edduos de pesticidas e aprender sobre o ciclo de vida dos insetos e o est\u00e1gio correto para aplicar pesticidas para diferentes pragas.<\/p>\n
Metade das 64 prov\u00edncias e munic\u00edpios do Vietn\u00e3 foram alcan\u00e7ados pelas iniciativas de treinamento do PPD, que est\u00e1 aumentando seus esfor\u00e7os para cobrir mais prov\u00edncias a cada ano.
